METHODS: This study comprised patients with moderate to high myopia (range -6.00 to -16.50 diopters [D]) who had implantation of the AcrySof Cachet pIOL. Outcome measures included uncorrected distance visual acuity (UDVA), corrected distance visual acuity (CDVA), predictability, stability of the manifest refraction spherical equivalent (MRSE), adverse events, and endothelial cell density (ECD).

RESULTS: Pooled interim data from 360 patients assessed for up to 3 years postoperatively are presented. Of the 104 patients who reached the 3-year visit, the UDVA was 20/40 or better in 101 (97.1%) and 20/20 or better in 48(46.2%). The aim of this study was to set up and validate a telephone interview aimed at assessing the correlation between mood and sleep variables in adolescents. The study included 16-18 years subjects. The aim of this study was to assess psychosocial disorders in an Italian cohort of children and adolescent with MS. We evaluated 56 patients through self-assessment scales of depression (Children Depression Inventory) and fatigue (Fatigue Severity Scale), a psychiatric interview [Kiddie-SADS-Present and Lifetime Version (K-SADS-PL)] and an interview on school and everyday activities. Hearing loss was the most common major sequelae in the cases (51.8%, 29/56) followed by cognitive deficit (40.0%, 26/65), seizures (21.2%, 14/66), and motor deficit (21.2%, 14/66). Of these cases, 34.9% (23/66) had multiple impairments. The risk of major sequelae was 79.2% (17/22) in children with previous

Recent findings

Only case reports or series based on a low number of patients had been reported in the literature. A recent retrospective European Study based on about

20 patients with Cushing’s syndrome gave more precise data about mifepristone. Coupled with the 20 previously reported patients in various studies, these results determine the profile of patients who could benefit from mifepristone.

BMI, calculated as weight in kilograms divided by height squared in meters, was specified as the outcome, and a BMI (in kg/m(2)) of >= 25 was additionally specified to model the likelihood of being overweight. Household wealth and education were included as markers of individual socioeconomic status, and per capita Gross Domestic Product (pcGDP) was included as a marker of country-level economic development.

Results: Globally, a one-quartile increase in wealth was associated with a 0.54 increase in BMI (95% CI: 0.50, 0.64) and a 33% increase in overweight (95% CI: 26%, 41%) in adjusted models.
